The Bright Side: Proforma Sponsors 10th Annual Halloween in the Village
After two major hurricanes, this year’s celebration served to build community – and spooky spirit – in the Florida neighborhood.

This year’s Halloween in the Village was an extra sweet one for Davis Islands, FL – an opportunity for a community to come together and celebrate after major hurricanes affected the region this fall, with the help of Counselor Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094).
Proforma again sponsored the annual event, the 10th consecutive year the distributor has been a part of Halloween in the Village. Last weekend’s celebration featured costume contests, trick or treating, music and more spooky fun.
“Halloween in the Village is incredibly special to Davis Islands and also to Proforma,” said Proforma’s Director of Business Development Vanessa Edwards, who aided in planning the event. “Following the recent hurricanes, it was a joy to pour into all members of the community – supporting not only the youth but also local businesses. There is nothing better than seeing the smiles and watching families and friends come together to create special moments.”
At Davis Islands’ Halloween in the Village, Proforma provided trick-or-treat bags and candy bingo cards to hundreds of attendees.
Davis Islands is a Florida neighborhood located near Tampa, which took a direct hit from Hurricane Milton in early October. Leading up to the big day, more than 200 volunteers joined together to clean debris from the event location to ensure a safe environment for the festivities.
As an event sponsor, Proforma provided signage and printed materials for the event – including Halloween candy bingo cards – as well as trick-or-treat bags assembled by the distributor’s executive and leadership teams. Members of the Proforma support center team also dressed up to hand out candy and promo items.
“This is my first year working with Proforma and being involved in the event,” Gianna Mangino, a Proforma marketing specialist, shared. “Attending Halloween in the Village was such a delight. It makes me so proud to be part of this team and – through Proforma – part of the Davis Islands community.”
Proforma ranked fifth on ASI’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the promotional products industry, with $638 million in reported 2023 North American revenue.
