Tricia Thompson Hired as Sales Director at Evo3 Marketing

The promo industry veteran will help the Seattle-headquartered distributor with technology advancement, product innovation and sustainability initiatives.

Evo3 Marketing (asi/190628) is welcoming a promo industry veteran into its ranks, with Tricia Thompson joining the Seattle-based distributor firm as director of sales for merch, events and brand strategy.

In the new role, Thompson will help Evo3 curate brand activations and other event experiences, train its global sales team, leverage technology with a comprehensive brand strategy and further the company’s sustainability efforts, among other tasks.

“Tricia’s experience within the promo industry is deep and wide with creativity at the forefront,” said Amy Wolf, CEO and founder. “She’s a natural leader with an infectious demeanor and strong moral compass.”

Of particular note, Thompson will work with Kendall Lawrence, Evo3’s ESG adviser, to help the company achieve B Corp status in 2025. Other sustainability initiatives include using tools like veritree and Greenly to create green campaigns, seeking out sustainable brands and vetting their authenticity, developing green shipping partners and expanding green methods into the events industry with vendor partners.

“We want zero greenwashing at Evo3,” Wolf added.

Thompson said she’s known Wolf for a decade and a half and is excited to work with her and her team.

“I can’t wait to dig in and help grow all facets of the company and to be able to offer my clients a true agency experience,” she added. “Strategy and growth are what get me up and going every day – for my client partners and for Evo3 Marketing.”

Thompson has more than 27 years of experience in the world of branded merch, joining the now defunct Fiddlehead Inc. in the late 1990s. She then served as a merch buyer and marketing manager for Washington Mutual, before spending several years at Gifts By Design, a Seattle-based distributor acquired by Counselor Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431). Most recently, Thompson served as marketing director at Image Source (asi/230121), a 2024 Counselor Best Place to Work.
