Alex Webb

McCabe Promotional Products (asi/264901)

For people who lament the lack of go-getter millennials in the promo space, please allow us to introduce you to Alex Webb, who – at the tender age of 30 – has been in the industry for just under five years and gives us hope for the future of the business. She graduated from University, as they say in Canada, where the company she works for – McCabe Promotional Products – is based, with a degree in Executive Office Administration and got her start at McCabe as an entry-level administrative coordinator. Today, she’s the company’s go-to marketing manager, spearheading its internal sales and marketing efforts, working with McCabe’s sales reps and management to create wow-worthy campaigns for clients, and, oh yes, picking up a gold PPPC Image Award for her efforts along the way.

“To be totally cliché, I wear a lot of different hats,” Webb says unapologetically. “My daily roles vary drastically depending on what’s going on at McCabe, but my core responsibilities include creating our marketing initiatives, sourcing and managing self-promo, planning client and team events, managing our social media, and organizing Marigold Rescue (the charitable branch of our organization) outreach activities and partnerships. Most importantly, I take care of Jamie McCabe and Colin Rous,” she says, laughing at the larger-than-life personalities who are the owners of her company.

And if that seems like she’s got her hands full, don’t kid yourself – she’s reveling in every minute of it. “I’m really excited about what we, as a team, are working toward, and I don’t want to miss out on anything,” Webb says. “The more opportunities I have to expand my social network throughout industry events, the more I fall in love with it.”
