It was a year ago that Next Level Apparel founder Joe Simsoly retired, triggering a change in leadership at the popular apparel basics company. While industry newcomer Randy Hales took over as CEO, the supplier also added Jason Buchanan – a seasoned apparel executive who spent 10 years at alphabroder – as the company’s president of sales in 2020. Buchanan and Eric Simsolo (Joe’s son and the director of business development) are driving significant sales, as the company posted $275 million in 2021 and started the first half of 2022 on a sustained high note.
