Norm Hullinger is new to the list this year but no stranger to the Power 50 – the seasoned apparel exec previously appeared several times as CEO of Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063) before joining BELLA+CANVAS in 2021. Hullinger’s time away from the spotlight was short-lived, however, as he was named president in July. He replaces Chris Blakeslee – a former member of the Power 50 who assumed the role of president and CEO of women’s activewear and lifestyle brand Athleta.

Meanwhile, this is Megan Spire’s second appearance on the Power 50. The VP of sales (who started with BELLA right out of college) continues to set the direction of the company through key areas like sales efforts and company culture. She also spearheads the supplier’s considerable sustainable initiatives, which range from zero-waste products to innovative new products like the new 100% recycled EcoMax T-shirt). And it’s certainly full speed ahead for the fashion basics brand, which opened two distribution centers in Nevada and Maryland.
