Top 40 distributor American Solutions for Business (asi/120075) announced this week that it has partnered with SWC Enterprises Inc., a firm based in North Canton, OH, that sells print and promotional products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but as part of the deal, SWC will now operate under the American Solutions for Business (ASB) umbrella.

“Our partnership with ASB will allow us to continue delivering the same level of service and personal attention to our clients that we have for 30 years, but leverage the purchasing power, technology and e-commerce abilities of a large national company,” said Steve Wessel, president and sales associate for SWC.

SWC, which has a base of about 500 clients, will bring along its salespeople and service staff to ASB. “We’re pleased to welcome the SWC group to the American family,” said Justin Zavadil, executive vice president of ASB. “Their team of sales associates and support staff bring extensive experience in serving the print and promotional needs of clients in Northeast Ohio.”

This is the second transaction for ASB since late last year. In November, the company acquired Nashville, TN-based Branding U. ASB ranks number 14 on the Counselor Top 40, and the company recently reported to Counselor that it garnered $115.9 million worth of North American ad specialty revenues in 2014, an increase of 12% over the prior year.
