Top 40 supplier High Caliber Line (asi/43442) has acquired the assets of supplier firm Way2Cool (asi/95735). Financial terms of the transaction, which closed in March, were not revealed.

“We are excited to have picked up the Way2Cool line and several other retail items from 02Cool. We are always looking for niche companies in our industry, so this is a great fit for us.” said Daniel Oas, CEO of High Caliber Line.

Way2Cool represents the promotional division of O2Cool, a retail brand with worldwide distribution. High Caliber has already been a partner with Way2Cool for several years, carrying products such as misting fans and water bottles. High Caliber now plans on expanding its 02Cool offerings with some of the newest designs from the retail brand.

High Caliber will start to fulfill orders and answer inquiries for Way2Cool products as of this month. “Way2Cool customers can expect a higher level of service and we are looking forward to adding these customers to the High Caliber family,” said Les Dorfman, vice president of sales and marketing.  

For High Caliber, which ranked number 38 on the Counselor Top 40 last year with more than $36 million in annual sales, the deal represents an expansion of its product line. “Ultimately, this acquisition opens new opportunities for [us] to feature more retail-quality products to the promotional market, as we strive to bring cool and innovative products to our customers,” Oas said.
