Long-term loyalty, hard work and excellent execution have propelled Rachelle Power to the position of Vice President of Corporate Programs at Top 40 distributor Geiger (asi/202900).

The Lewiston, ME-based firm announced Power’s promotion on Tuesday. She’s officially been in the executive position since April 1.

"Rachelle has been a key driver of the significant growth experienced within our Corporate Programs division,” said Chris McKee, Geiger’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “From the inception of this division, she has been instrumental in developing a strong team of committed, energized professionals."

Power, who studied education at Brigham Young University, has worked for Geiger for nearly 25 years, having started at the company in September of 1994. She began as a program manager in the Corporate Programs division. Over time, she rose to business development manager and, later, director of sales, service and marketing before her most recent promotion. “We are thrilled that Rachelle has been promoted to the role of vice president,” said McKee.

A mother of three, Power enjoys spending time outside work with family, cooking and volunteering in her community and with her church, Geiger said.

With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $185.5 million, Geiger ranked 10^th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
