Prime Line Launches Collection From Threadfast Apparel
Prime Line (asi/79530) built its reputation in the promo industry by being a powerhouse in hard goods products. But for several years, the diversifying Connecticut-based supplier, now a division of Top 40 firm alphabroder (asi/34063), has also featured apparel among its key offerings. On Wednesday, Prime Line took another step within the wearables category, expanding its apparel portfolio to include T-shirts and more from Threadfast Apparel (asi/91163).
“We’re thrilled to add Threadfast to our stable of fashion brands, which also includes Bella+Canvas and Next Level Apparel,” said Prime Line President Jeff Lederer. “The Threadfast brand has really taken off with alphabroder, and this is another example of the amazing synergy that exists between us. We’re always looking for ways to offer customers new benefits and ways to succeed by working with alphabroder-Prime Line.”
Three T-shirts and a hoodie are part of Prime Line’s initial rollout of fashion-forward apparel from Threadfast -- a lifestyle brand defined by modern, sleek fabrications that are comfortable to wear. More styles could launch in May.
Prime is offering silk screen decoration in up to three colors on the new Threadfast styles. Distributors who order apparel and headwear from Prime Line receive a single invoice for the decorated items and freight. “Our single invoice program saves customers time and money,” said Lederer.
In December 2017, Prime Line merged with alphabroder and became its hard goods and decoration division. A former Top 40 supplier before the merger, Bridgeport, CT-headquartered Prime has operated in the promo space since 1980. Prime Line is a founding member of the Quality Certification Alliance (QCA) – an independent organization within the promotional products industry that is dedicated to protecting brands through accredited corporate social responsibility.
With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $1.37 billion, alphabroder ranked second on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
