Proforma Affiliate Earns $1 Million Contract with Healthcare Company
The seven-figure contract is the fruition of persistence and collaboration, the Top 40 distributor says.
For two years Mike Anderman plugged away, working to get his foot in the door with the large regionalized healthcare provider.
When his persistence paid off with an invite to participate in a highly competitive RFP process, Anderman knew it was essential to leverage the strength of Top 40 distributor Proforma’s (asi/300094) resources to emerge victorious.
And that’s just what he did, ultimately inking a $1 million contract with the client.
Anderman (pictured), owner of Proforma affiliate Proforma123, worked with Proforma’s North American Major Accounts Team and its network of preferred suppliers to develop a dynamite response to the RFP. The proposal included top-notch solutions for providing promotional products and direct mail services to the healthcare company’s 50 clinic locations around the Midwest and Eastern U.S. The marketing services will support patient recruitment efforts, health clinics and employment fairs.
As exciting for Anderman, the Proforma pro now has a chance to develop an ecommerce solution that will integrate directly with the company’s ERP system.
“One of the key factors in our winning the contract was our ability to provide a website that could be integrated into the customer’s site, providing them with direct access to a variety of standard and specialized items,” said Anderman. “I knew that we could win the business with the help of Proforma’s North American Major Accounts Team and our Preferred Supplier Network.”
Anderman’s million-dollar win comes amid a string of impressive sales victories for Proforma owners. Earlier this month, Proforma announced that an affiliate, Proforma Printing Corporation, won a $20 million piece of business with a leading medical device company.
That lucrative deal followed fast on the heels of two Proforma affiliate-owners teaming up to win a three-year, $12 million contract with a Fortune 500 technology company. “We pride ourselves on having the best resources available, from coaching and back office support, to access to our impressive supplier partner network,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma.
With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $368.9 million, Proforma ranked fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
