Sasha Pirrie Joins BAMKO as National Sales Manager

Pirrie was previously in sales leadership roles with Top 40 promo suppliers PCNA and Logomark.

Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431) has a new national sales manager who brings more than 20 years of promo experience to the position.

Los Angeles-headquartered BAMKO announced that Sasha Pirrie is taking over the high-level sales role at the company that currently ranks as the 19th-largest distributor by revenue in the North American promo market. The new rankings are due out in July 2021.

“I couldn’t be more grateful for the trust and confidence that the team at BAMKO has placed in me, and I intend to prove that their trust was very well placed,” Pirrie said in a statement.

Pirrie began her career in promo with Top 40 supplier Sweda (asi/90305) in 2000, working as an outside sales representative. In 2009, she joined another California-based Top 40 supplier, Logomark (asi/67866), where she was a vice president and West Coast sales manager. In 2017, she joined Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897), the fourth-largest supplier in promo, as field sales manager.

Pirrie is “a unique talent, a great cultural fit, and someone who loves a challenge,” said Jake Himelstein, BAMKO’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer. “Sasha is going to do special things here. We’re going to give her the resources and support she needs to succeed, and we’re going to set her loose to become the best version of herself that she is capable of being.”

Despite the business challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, BAMKO increased year-over-year total global annual sales in 2020 to about $202.2 million, according to financial data released by parent firm Superior Group of Companies. Of that total, BAMKO generated $193.9 million in revenue in North America, a 78% increase over reported 2019 North American promo revenue of $108.6 million.
