Atlantis Headwear (asi/37380) and Caps Direct (asi/43804) tipped their collective cap to Earth Day, announcing a new licensing partnership to bring the Italy-based Atlantis’ custom sustainable headwear to North America.

“We’re excited to offer a streamlined process for customizing sustainable headwear that encompasses each company’s expertise,” said Federico Pasini, brand and sales director for Atlantis. “This partnership with Caps Direct will allow us to build and better serve our customers in North America.”

The Recy Three cap from Atlantis Headwear is made of recycled cotton canvas and recycled polyester mesh.

Caps Direct has more than 20 years of experience in creative, quality and custom headwear solutions, providing a one-stop experience from factory to customer, according to the company.

Atlantis Headwear will offer 11 styles in a variety of colors as the starting point for customization, representing a wide cross-section of its sustainable headwear collection. The options include a variety of colors and incorporate environmentally conscious materials including recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Polylana fiber, an Atlantis specialty. According to its website, Polylana is almost identical in hand feel to acrylic fiber but with a lower environmental impact.

To join the journey for sustainable custom headwear, the team at Caps Direct will provide service from concept development to finished product delivery, working seamlessly with Atlantis through a shared factory. Both companies also share a relationship with Sportsman Cap & Bag (asi/88877), which distributors Atlantis Headwear blanks through 14 North American distribution locations.
