Threadfast Offers Sample Bundle of Sustainable Styles
The Earth Pack is available throughout April, and the supplier will have a tree planted for each pack sold.
Threadfast Apparel (asi/91163) is bringing back the “Earth Pack.”
For the second year in a row, the supplier is offering an Earth Month promotion in collaboration with its exclusive distribution partner Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063). The Earth Pack is a bundle of four of its sustainably made styles, available for $20.22 from April 1 to April 30. For every Earth Pack purchased, Threadfast will plant a tree through One Tree Planted, a nonprofit focused on global reforestation in the U.S. and Canada.
“We’re determined to contribute to the fight against pollution, climate change and deforestation,” said Katy Mendoza, creative director at Threadfast. “These are year-round goals; however, we love the platform that Earth Day and Earth Month provide to reach more people. We aim to promote responsible sourcing and purchasing habits while supplying exceptional styles to the imprintable industry.”
All the styles in the pack promote responsible sourcing by using recycled polyester, sustainably sourced cotton and cationic cotton technology in their respective blends. The pack includes a 60/40 cotton/polyester T-shirt (100A), tri-blend tee (102A), fleece pullover (320H) and unisex denim jacket (370J). The company says it hopes promo distributors and decorators will use the sample pack to “try the product themselves and pass on their first-hand findings to their own customers.” To find out more, or order your Earth Pack, visit the site earthpack.threadfast.com.
Threadfast is a member of the Better Cotton Initiative to help it source more sustainably produced cotton than through traditional avenues. Last year, according to its website, Threadfast sourced the equivalent of 15 million plastic bottles for the recycled polyester used in its fabrics.
Threadfast offered its first Earth Pack promotion in 2021, again tying it to a reforestation campaign. In March, the supplier announced that last year it had planted more than 46,000 trees through the One Tree Planted organization.
