Phase 3 Marketing & Communications Acquires Technology Media Group
Executives said the acquisition will strengthen Phase 3’s fabrication, embroidery and branded merchandise offerings.
Phase 3 Marketing & Communications (asi/290433), an Atlanta-headquartered integrated marketing services company whose offerings include promotional products, has acquired Dallas-based Technology Media Group (TMG; asi/342617). Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Known foremost as a digital printing company, TMG will enhance Phase 3’s capabilities by bringing aboard additional large- and small-format digital printing, warehousing and distribution capacity, envelope printing and converting, metal fabrication, commercial architectural outdoor signage offerings, and embroidery/apparel screen printing.
“TMG has an admirable history behind them, and we’re eager to incorporate their expertise into our operations,” said Max Nair, co-founder and chief investment officer of Phase 3 Marketing and Communications.
As part of the acquisition, now former TMG President Cassandra Byerly is joining Phase 3 as senior vice president of sales for the southwestern region. Byerly asserted that TMG customers will benefit from Phase 3’s offerings, including branding, strategy, creative services, public relations, media planning and management.
“Our TMG clients will be inspired by what Phase 3 brings to the table, helping them solve their marketing problems by growing their revenues and deepening their market penetration,” said Byerly.
TMG launched in 1986 and has operated from a 100,000-square-foot facility in Dallas. Phase 3/TMG are exploring a joint location to house collective team members and production.
Founded in 2001, Phase 3 said that its solutions run the print and marketing gamut. The firm serves enterprise and corporate clients across the United States. In addition to Atlanta, Phase 3 has offices in Nashville, Charlotte, NC, Dallas and the New York City metropolitan area. The firm has now completed 11 acquisitions in its 22-year history.
