New York-based distributor Motivators Promotional Products (asi/277780) announced today that it has decided to affiliate with Top 40 distributor iPROMOTEu (asi/232119).

In a statement, Motivators said it was seeking to scale its online business, streamline its operations and position itself for significant future growth. “We’re excited to take this next step in our company’s evolution by joining forces with iPROMOTEu,” said Ken Laffer, CEO of Motivators. “Their impressive business model gives us the gift of focus and we’re looking forward to the future growth our decision will bring.”

Founded in 1979 by Laffer, Motivators has been one of the leading online distributors in the promotional products industry. The company has also been a perennial member of Counselor’s Best Places to Work list.

iPROMOTEu ranks as the 12th-largest distributor in the industry, after reporting North American promotional products sales of $139 million in 2015, a 15% increase over the previous year.
