Two Sacramento, CA-based distributors have come together in a deal that sees A4 Promotions and Incentives, an affiliate of Top 40 distributor iPROMOTEu (asi/232119), acquire Square One Promotional Products (asi/332912). Financial terms of the deal were confidential.

“The personalities of the owners of Square One and A4, along with their great account mix, were a perfect match to help grow our business,” Brittany Smith, owner of A4, said in a press release. “We look forward to working with this new set of accounts and contacts, and to carry on the excellent customer service Square One provided to their clientele over many years.”

Nancy Warren, owner of Square One, echoed the sentiment. “We were impressed by their enthusiasm and knowledge of the business,” she said. “We know our clients will be in good hands.”

A4 Promotions and Incentives was founded in 2011, while Square One Promotional Products has been in operation since 2010, the companies said.

The Distributor Exchange, a firm that helps distributors sell their businesses, guided the distributorships through the acquisition process. Both Smith and Warren praised the firm’s work on the deal, with Smith saying “The Distributor Exchange was outstanding in researching this opportunity of a great mid-size promotional product company for A4 Promotions and Incentives.”
