An experienced sales executive whose professional background includes leadership roles at Under Armour and Life is Good has joined Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070) as Vice President of Sales.

The Lawrence, MA-headquartered company announced the hiring of Nicole Verspyck on Thursday.  “Nicole is well-prepared to meet the needs of her customers in her new position at Gemline,” the supplier said in a statement.

Most recently, Verspyck was VP of Sales at Life is Good, the Boston-based brand known for its optimistic apparel and accessories, including T-Shirts and hats, that bear the phrase “Life is good.”  Additionally, Verspyck was Director of Department Store Sales for athleticwear brand Under Armour. Prior to that, she served as sales director for Lilly Pulitzer, the women’s fashion brand known for its bright floral prints and popularity with high society. Verspyck’s other professional roles include working as Manager of Apparel Operations for Reebok International.

With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $99.8 million, Gemline ranked 16^th on Counselor’s 2018 list of the largest suppliers in the industry by revenue.
