Latest Golf Apparel on Display at PGA Fashion & Demo Experience

Golf apparel and merchandise has a major influence on the promotional products industry, making this show one for promo pros to keep an eye on.

Coming off the heels of Brooks Koepka’s PGA Championship victory and an inspirational comeback by Tiger Woods, the golf world was still buzzing as industry professionals gathered in Las Vegas for the 2018 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience.

Manufacturers, consumers and golf industry leaders tested out the newest equipment and technology this week at Topgolf Las Vegas. In addition, the hottest fashion trends and latest accessory collections from nearly 200 companies and brands were showcased.

With golf apparel and merchandise being a major influence on the promotional products industry, here are some of the latest pieces displayed at the expo.

Top 40 supplier Cutter & Buck (asi/47965) launched its “New Available Now” collection, an initiative that sees new products immediately delivered to wholesale retail accounts when the items come to market, in the golf retail channel this week. “This new strategy means our wholesale customers now have the flexibility to stay ahead of major market shifts and work with their buying schedule – not ours,” said Joel Freet, CEO of Cutter & Buck. “They’ll also reap inventory and cash flow benefits. We keep our shelves full and ready for orders without overloading their back-stock areas.”

The Washington-based sports apparel company released the Forge Polo, which comes in regular fit as well as the new tailored fit, and the Adrenaline collection, which represents a long-term strategy to broaden the appeal of the ANNIKA brand.

Phoenix-based supplier Antigua Group (asi/36320) presented its Spring and Summer 2019 collections for golf performance apparel. There were men’s and women’s polos of various colors and patterns, dress shorts, skorts, pants and pullovers on display.
