Gemline Partners With Gardening Brand Modern Sprout
The Top 40 supplier is bringing Modern Sprout gardening products into its growing promo product portfolio.
Gemline (asi/56070) has formed a new strategic partnership with Chicago-based Modern Sprout that will have the Top 40 supplier selling the fast-growing gardening brand’s products to the promotional products industry.
Modern Sprout products that Lawrence, MA-based Gemline will offer include an indoor herb garden kit, a hydroponic set for growing edible herbs and more.
“As houseplants and gardening enjoy a growth spurt in popularity, we are excited to introduce these style-savvy green products to our customers, providing sustainable solutions to the modern challenges of indoor and desktop gardening,” said Gemline CEO Jonathan Isaacson. “With their fresh, innovative products and commitment to sustainability and giving back, Modern Sprout is the perfect complement to Gemline’s expanding brand portfolio.”
Modern Sprout launched in 2013. The company says it is dedicated to cultivating connections between homes and the natural world. By combining the logic and utility of commercial hydroponic growing systems with space-savvy design, the brand aims to offer simple, sustainable solutions for every home. Modern Sprout says it’s committed to domestic sourcing and manufacturing when possible, as well as reducing plastic materials in products and packaging and building products from sustainable materials.
Modern Sprout donates a percentage of proceeds to American Forests and the Pollinator Partnership for reforestation and ecosystem protection. It also partners with the Heartland Alliance to provide employment for Chicago’s most vulnerable residents.
With reported 2019 North American promotional product revenue of $105 million, Gemline ranks 13th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
