The Magnet Group Promotes Jessica Hiner to VP of Business Development
The Top 40 firm also announced the promotion of Rachel Doerr to art supervisor.
Top 40 promotional products supplier The Magnet Group (asi/68507) has promoted industry sales veteran Jessica Hiner to the newly created role of vice president of business development.
Going forward, Hiner will work with key accounts in addition to using her expertise to drive solutions across the Washington, MO-headquartered company’s entire customer base, in partnership with The Magnet Group’s sales team.
Executives said Hiner is well-suited for the VP role. She joined The Magnet Group 13 years ago and has served as a regional sales manager, director of key accounts and, most recently, vice president of key accounts.
“Those of us who work with Jessica on a daily basis know her for her resourcefulness, creativity, dedication, keen sense and success,” said Aaron Gunderson, senior vice president of sales.
Meanwhile, The Magnet Group has promoted Rachel Doerr from graphic artist to art supervisor. Doerr has been with the company for 10 years.
“Rachel has worked diligently to form relationships outside of her department, allowing her to troubleshoot procedures and create efficiencies. Our customers benefit greatly from Rachel’s hard work,” said Travis Cope, corporate art director.
With reported 2020 North American promotional products revenue of $89.3 million, The Magnet Group ranked 15th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
