Sharon Eyal Leaving ETS Express; Brandon Bell to Become President
The leadership change is part of a natural expected transition that follows Polyconcept’s 2019 acquisition of the former Top 40 firm. Notably, Adam Stone is also being promoted to vice president of sales at ETS.
Sharon Eyal is calling it a day at ETS Express (asi/51197) and Brandon Bell is stepping up to lead the powerhouse drinkware supplier, which is an independent subsidiary of Top 40 firm Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897). In another key move, ETS is also promoting Adam Stone to vice president of sales.
Eyal has announced that his last day at Oxnard, CA-headquartered ETS will be November 29. The departure comes as part of a natural expected change. When Polyconcept, PCNA’s parent firm, acquired ETS Express in 2019 Eyal agreed to stay on for three years to help ensure a smooth, successful transition.
The three-year period concludes around November’s end, and Eyal is now ready to move on from the company he spearheaded into becoming a Top 40 firm that was the industry’s largest supplier of promotional drinkware at the time of the Polyconcept purchase.
What’s next for Eyal is unclear, but his legacy in promo is assured. He was Counselor’s 2018 Person of the Year, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, and led a company that was both a large Top 40 enterprise and considered one of the best places to work in the industry.
When the PCNA acquisition occurred, “I committed to a three-year transition period and every day since, have led the business with the same passion and commitment as I had prior to the sale,” Eyal said in a note to employees. “Making this announcement now was important to (Polyconcept CEO Neil Ringel) and I to ensure there was clarity regarding my successor.”
That successor, Brandon Bell, will be taking on the newly created position of president of ETS Express and reporting directly to Ringel. Bell has been with ETS Express for about 12 years, currently in the role of vice president of sales and marketing since March 2019. Prior positions at ETS Express include director of sales and vice president of marketing.
Before joining ETS, Bell held sales leadership roles at bags brand OGIO International, focusing particularly on the promo market.
“Brandon is an excellent leader with the vision and experience to lead ETS into the future,” said Ringel, a Power 50 member.
“Under Bell’s leadership, ETS’s best days are ahead and the future is brighter than ever,” added Eyal. “I am looking forward to Brandon continuing to run ETS at a high level after my departure.”
Stone will also play a pivotal role in building that future in his new VP of sales role. He joined ETS in 2014 and has been a regional sales manager and most recently national account director. Prior to ETS, Stone held sales manager positions at PCNA and at Top 40 supplier The Magnet Group (asi/68507).
“Adam is tremendously talented and has the vision to help our company transform to the next level,” said Bell. “Most importantly, he understands our valued customers and how to continuously adapt to their expanding needs.”
With reported 2021 North American promo products revenue of $696.4 million, ranked fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
