UFC Partners With Amazon Merch on Demand
It’s another marquee deal in the world of branded swag for the Seattle-headquartered multi-national technology company best known for its ecommerce marketplace.
Amazon has forged another high-profile partnership in the world of branded merchandise.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has partnered with Amazon Merch on Demand, the web-based retailer’s print-on-demand service. Las Vegas-based UFC is the largest mixed martial arts brand in the world, staging fights across the globe.
UFC is launching a fresh range of branded swag, including new original designs, in collaboration with Merch on Demand. The deal pertains to officially licensed UFC apparel and accessories that include everything from T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts to phone cases.
With Merch on Demand, content creators like UFC upload their own designs which will be printed/produced/shipped as branded products whenever a fan purchases a particular item.
“We’re thrilled to work with an incredible company like Amazon to enhance our fan gear with a broad array of new products with original designs for UFC fans,” said Tracey Bleczinski, senior vice president of UFC global consumer products. “Our merchandise and apparel are primary touch points that help connect our fans with UFC’s brand.”
UFC’s partnership with Merch on Demand further strengthens the brand’s connections with Amazon. In 2021, Zappos.com, which Amazon owns, became the exclusive wholesale manufacturer and distributor of officially licensed UFC apparel and accessories sold at retail in the United States.
Other brands on Amazon’s Merch on Demand include Disney, Fortnite, Marvel and Universal.
