Pop! Promos (asi/45657) is adding talent to its team.
The Philadelphia-based supplier, which specializes in the rapid manufacture and importing of full-color and Pantone-matched products, has hired Julie Callahan as chief sales officer and Kristine Eng as marketing manager.
Pop! executives said Callahan has impressive experience in developing, mentoring and leading high-performing sales teams. She was most recently with Top 40 distributor Custom Ink (asi/173232), where her title was head of sales for national and strategic accounts.
Previously a vice president for Top 40 firm AIA Corporation (asi/109480), director of sales for OmniSource Marketing (asi/287488), and a territory manager at Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063), Callahan has a track record of using data to help create new opportunities for revenue generation. She’s also demonstrated the ability not only to retain clients, but to grow the business they do with a company. Pop! says all that will prove valuable in her new role.
“Embracing the opportunity to lead the Pop! Promos sales team as a new member of the executive lineup is both an honor and a privilege,” said Callahan. “Together, we’re poised to leverage our collective expertise, drive innovation and forge new paths that will breed ongoing success.”
Eng was most recently with supplier KNOSS Apparel (asi/65487), where her roles included social media manager and sales/marketing consultant. Her resume also includes time as a brand advocate and marketing production specialist at alphabroder; she previously worked in marketing for Bodek & Rhodes, which later became part of alphabroder.
“Coupled with her retail experience as a photo producer with Urban Outfitters, Eng brings a wealth of knowledge from various aspects of the industry,” Pop! Promos said in a statement.
“I’m elated to be joining such a creative force in the industry with a fantastic reputation and thoughtful leadership, setting out to do things differently,” said Eng. “There are so many bright minds contributing to Pop!, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team.”
Pop! Promos’ merch includes socks, sunglasses, key rings, recycled fanny packs, laptop sleeves, bags and more. Through its promo distributor partners, the supplier manufactures products for over 300 Fortune 500 companies.
“We’re redefining what custom means in the promotional branded merchandise world by establishing and leading the rapid-importer category,” the company says. “Pop! Promos offers distributors the ability to step away from single-color, single-imprint products, and offer their clients something that is manufactured with their brand DNA.”
