Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) recently hosted its “Liftoff”-themed Annual Women’s Session in Miami, welcoming Proforma owners and supplier representatives for a day of leadership development, networking and charitable work.

Attendees at Proforma’s Annual Women’s Session assembled 180 backpacks of school supplies for The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families in Orlando.

“This event could not be possible without the collaboration of everyone involved, and we are so grateful for the strong network we have cultivated,” said Michelle Dalton, vice president of supplier relations at Proforma. “As a woman-owned business, Proforma truly understands and appreciates the value women in the workplace provide, and it’s something we celebrate.”

Volunteers among the group worked together to assemble 180 backpacks for The Howard Phillips Center for Children and Families in Orlando. The bags were packed with more than 5,000 school supplies, a contribution of almost $10,000.

“As an agency that serves many low-income families, The Howard Phillips Center loves being able to help all our kids start the school year equipped with backpacks and other necessary school supplies so they’re ready to learn,” said Marie Martinez, director of operations at The Howard Phillips Center. “We are so grateful to Proforma for helping us do that for over a hundred lucky kids this year.”

Proforma also recently held its Annual Convention and Family Reunion in Orlando, which welcomed nearly 600 attendees for workshops, networking and the yearly Awards Celebration.

Based on 2022 North American revenue, Proforma ranks fifth on Counselor’s most recent list of the 40 largest distributors in the industry.
