Podcast: Marcus Lemonis' Secrets Of Entrepreneurial Success
Marcus Lemonis, the CEO of Camping World and host of the hit CNBC series The Profit, speaks to ASI in this exclusive interview on why some entrepreneurs are raving successes – and why others are destined for failure. Ultimately, he says, it comes down to leadership. "Business success – and success for smaller, entrepreneurial companies – is based around the person in charge and how good of a leader they are," says Lemonis, who is also the keynote speaker at next week's ASI Show in Orlando. "They need to be clear in their goals and set a good direction for their company."
Lemonis, who tries to help turn around struggling businesses on his reality television show, also believes good leaders are intimately familiar with their financials. "I see so many business owners who just don't know what their real profits are or where their revenues are coming from every day," Lemonis says in this podcast. "If you don’t know the financial data of your company, then you can't give it the direction that it needs. Good business owners are looking at financials every day." Listen to his podcast, below.
