Ennis (asi/52493) has announced that, in conjunction with the signing of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, the firm’s board of directors has approved a special one-time bonus to more than 2,200 non-management employees in the amount of $500 each.

Cintas (asi/162167) has received support from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority for a new distribution center in Groveport, OH. The tax credit is 1.09% over six years and is valued at $145,000 should the business meet all of its requirements. Cintas expects to create 69 full-time equivalent jobs generating $2.3 million in new payroll by the end of 2021.

Twenty-five years is a milestone that I will not let go by quietly,” says company President Chuck Dahlgren. EverythingBranded USA (asi/160791) will be expanding its U.S. coverage – plans that include opening a satellite office on the West Coast in 2018. The expansion will increase the USA account managing team from near 40 to over 100 by the end of 2018. 

Southwick Specialty Advertising (asi/330940) of Portland, OR, will be closing on Dec. 31 after 38 years. The company won’t be accepting any mail or UPS/FedEx deliveries from then on. Principal Jim Southwick said a plan to retire is the reason for the closure.
