Ennis Inc. (asi/52493) has named Kyle Smith the new general manager of its Wolfe City, TX, facility. With decades of experience, Smith most recently served as the plant’s production manager. “I look forward to my new role as general manager and am excited to continue working with our team to grow the business and serve our customers,” Smith said.
Full Line Specialties (asi/199688) has hired Susan Meng as a customer service representative. She brings expertise in customer service and client care from her experience in the hospitality industry.
Crystal D (asi/47759) has promoted Tawauna Garner to order manager for the Central territory. The company also welcomes Matt Boyles and Dee Xiong as order entry specialists.
Ennis (asi/52493) named Ronnie Maxey as the new general manager of Royal Business Forms. Maxey will also serve as general manager of the Printegra location in Arlington, TX. A veteran of the printing industry, Maxey was promoted from his previous role as customer service manager of both Royal Business Forms and Printegra. “Ronnie’s expertise in print manufacturing and sales made him an ideal choice for general manager. We are confident he will lead Royal Business Forms and Printegra to continued success,” said Wade Brewer, business unit director at Ennis.
Midnite Snax (asi/71685), a candy, snack and gourmet food supplier, has announced it will be reuniting with Jules Scheck Associates, a manufacturer’s representative and consulting agency to promotional products suppliers. Jason Bickoff and his team at JSA will be combining efforts with Sean Kurtzman, Midnite Snax’s director of business development, to manage the supplier’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territory. “JSA has a stellar reputation throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions. We’re going to be an amazing team,” says Kurtzman. The partnership officially launches in January.
IMAGEN Brands, parent company of Crown (asi/47700) and Vitronic (asi/93390), has appointed Mike Qualters as Director of Customer Service. Qualters joined the company in 2000 as customer service manager. Over the years, he rose to director of sales operations, a role he was in prior to his newest appointment. IMAGEN said Qualters will play a vital role in enhancing customer service. “IMAGEN Brands has been working hard to improve the customer experience. Our customers deserve the best experience every time they interact with us,” says Lisa LeMond, Vice President of Sales at IMAGEN Brands. “While we’ve made progress, we need to do a better job to make sure those interactions are excellent from the moment a customer places an order, to the delivery, to the way we communicate, to how we respond to any issues. Office Beacon (asi/810423) appointed Veena Rampersad to the role of president. Office Beacon’s founder Pranav Dalal, who has been president since 2001, will continue as chief disruption officer and chairperson. “Veena is the right leader for Office Beacon,” Dalal said. “Veena’s extensive corporate management background and business development skills will help Office Beacon grow exponentially. Her recent success of growing our Philippines operation by over 300% annually is merely a sign of success to come.”
