Fully Promoted Welcomes Back Tipton Shonkwiler

The industry veteran returns as the Top 40 distributor’s divisional director of sales.

Top 40 distributor Fully Promoted (asi/384000) has announced that Tipton Shonkwiler will return to the company as divisional director of sales.

“With Tipton Shonkwiler, Fully Promoted has added another industry veteran to its already strong lineup of industry insiders and experts,” Mike Brugger, president of Fully Promoted, said in a press release. “His understanding of the industry will help more independent distributors realize the success and advantages of a franchise with the ability to leverage our vast embroidery network and supplier relationships.”

In his previous role at Fully Promoted, Shonkwiler handled vendor relations and marketing. For the past 17 years, he has served as international director at UFG, responsible for the overall global growth and expansion of all the group’s brands. “My industry experience, familiarity with growing an office-based franchise brand and knowledge of international markets will serve as strengths for me in this new role,” Shonkwiler said. “As I see it, we have a great opportunity ahead as an organization to expand our retail division. With the introduction of the Fully Promoted office model, this will open up a whole new set of buyers for the brand.”

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $104.1 million, Fully Promoted ranked 19th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry. Fully Promoted is one of several subsidiaries of United Franchise Group, which has some 1,600 franchisees in 80 countries around the world.
