The Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, a large international trade show often attended by North American promotional product leaders on the hunt for emerging trends and products, will be held in conjunction with other related fairs in a hybrid virtual and physical format in 2021.

Originally, the in-person gift fair was scheduled for April 27-30, 2021, but with COVID-19 raging in parts of the world and related travel restrictions in play, organizers have decided to take a different approach.

First, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council says that the Hong Kong Gift Fair will be consolidated with other events and turned into a sourcing event called “HKTDC International Sourcing Show.” The event will include a digital fair from March 17 to March 31, 2021, with continued exposure on the hktdc.com sourcing platform until the physical fair ends. That physical fair date is now scheduled for July 26-29 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“With this arrangement, industry players will be able to use the HKTDC’s dedicated online exhibition platform to attract early interest with business matching and virtual meetings in March, and to follow on with more business opportunities from the physical fair in July when the pandemic will hopefully subside,” organizers said in a statement.

Other shows the gift fair is being rolled in with are: the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, Hong Kong Fashion Week, and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair.
