Cap America Promotes Grace Schettler to VP of Sales
Schettler has been in sales leadership roles at the Top 40 promotional products supplier since 2017.
Cap America (asi/43792), a Fredericktown, MO-headquartered Top 40 promotional products supplier, has promoted Grace Schettler to vice president of sales.
“Grace has excelled from the moment she joined the company,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Gammon, to whom Schettler will report. “Her drive and determination are undeniable, and I’m proud to welcome her to the executive leadership team.”
Schettler isn’t replacing anyone; vice president of sales is a new position, the company said.
In the role, Schettler will be responsible for establishing and developing territories, analyzing market statistics, directing staff training, and evaluating the Cap America sales division. Executives said she will work alongside the rest of the Cap America leadership team to implement strategies aimed at propelling growth.
Schettler joined Cap America in 2017 as national sales manager. She soon earned a promotion to director of sales, a job that had her leading a team of multi-line reps focused on both the promo products and sporting goods industries. “She has been instrumental in the growth of Cap America’s customer base and sales,” the company said.
Prior to joining Cap America, Schettler worked for nearly nine years at supplier Boxercraft (asi/41325). There, the graduate of Middle Tennessee State University held roles that included key account manager and national sales manager.
Founded in 1985, Cap America specializes in headwear, providing in-stock, custom overseas and USA-made products. The firm reported 2020 North American promotional products revenue of $38.2 million, good enough to rank 38th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
