Cap America Promotes Jon Page
Page is now the vice president of production for the Top 40 supplier.
Top 40 promotional products supplier Cap America (asi/43792) has promoted Jon Page to vice president of production. Page previously was the director of knit operations, and under his leadership the company’s USA-made knit department experienced exponential growth, according to Cap America.
Page started with the Fredericktown, MO-based company in 2014 and has been essential to the growth of its knit category, implementing new technology and overseeing training and staff development. As the vice president of production, Page will continue to oversee knit department operations and implement strategic initiatives to continue the development of Cap America’s production departments. He will report to Tom Gillespie, senior vice president of production.
“Jon’s expertise in knit operations has been imperative to the success of our USA-made knit department,” Gillespie said in a statement. “I’m excited to work alongside him to continue this pattern of growth.”
Page’s promotion comes on the heels of a number of notable personnel changes at Cap America. Earlier this month, the supplier promoted Grace Schettler to vice president of sales; Mark Gammon was promoted to CEO, replacing Phil Page, who transitioned to chairman of the board.
Founded in 1985, Cap America specializes in headwear, providing in-stock, custom overseas and USA-made products. The supplier employs about 400 people. Cap America’s 2020 North American promo products sales of $38.2 million put the company onto Counselor’s Top 40 for the first time, nabbing spot 38 on the list of the industry’s largest suppliers.
