HPG Names Jenna Quaranta Director of Sales Training & Development

The high-profile hire continues a recent run of sales talent acquisition by the Top 40 firm.

Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) is adding more veteran sales talent to its leadership team.

The Braintree, MA-headquartered firm announced that it has hired Jenna Quaranta as director of sales training and development. Her first official day is Dec. 11 – and she’s pumped to get started.

“I am eager to contribute my tactical skill set in sales development and coaching to further elevate the company’s trajectory,” Quaranta said in a statement. “HPG’s dynamic leadership fueled my decision. I’m eager to learn from my HPG colleagues and continue on my mission of positively impacting our industry.”

Quaranta has become a well-known sales pro in promo through her prominent industry social media presence and the professional education classes she teaches at industry events. Her profile further elevated after she founded the Field Training Academy for promo products salespeople in January 2022 – a venture that will be “powered by HPG” as part of her new role, executives said.

Quaranta began her promo journey with Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063) as an inside sales associate and rose to the position of senior outside sales consultant over nearly 10 years with the firm.

From there, she made the move to distributor DSG Promotions (asi/174089), where her roles included vice president of marketing and business development. Most recently, Quaranta held the position of vice president of sales and business innovation at supplier KNOSS Apparel (asi/65487).

“I am humbled and delighted by the amount of talent we have on the HPG sales team,” said HPG Chief Revenue Officer Trina Bicknell. “Being able to attract such skilled and well-respected people as Jenna demonstrates HPG is building something special.”

Indeed, the firm has been active acquiring industry sales talent recently. In late November, HPG announced the hiring of Kate Plummer, a prominent member of the Canadian promotional products community, as director of sales for its Debco and Beacon Promotions brands.

Alex Symms, who has about 20 years of supplier-side promo sales experience, joined HPG in June as sales director of HPG’s Evans Manufacturing (asi/52840) brand – and impressed so much that he was swiftly promoted to director of sales for the firm’s western U.S. brands, which beyond former Top 40 supplier Evans include California-based Origaudio and Utah-headquartered Handstands.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $268.8 million, HPG ranked eighth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Across its 11 brands, HPG offers more than 15,000 SKUs. It produces and ships from nine facilities strategically located across North America.
