Imprint Canada has announced that Sergio Munoz, vice president of sales & marketing at Add Impact (asi/106606), will receive the Robert L. Scott Memorial Award at the National Imprint Canada Show in Toronto next month. The annual award recognizes a supplier for his or her dedication to and enthusiasm for the industry. A panel of peers chose Munoz for his work as vice president of business development at Debco, part of Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966). “Sergio is an incredibly deserving winner who has led a new generation of suppliers to embrace the modern practices of marketing,” says Tony Muccilli, publisher of Imprint Canada magazine and manager of the Imprint Canada Shows. “[It’s] a coincidental but absolutely fitting cap to his time at the supplier level that his contributions receive this well-deserved recognition.”

PromoKitchen, a nonprofit that focuses on education and mentorship in the promo industry, is hosting a networking mixer at the House of Blues in Las Vegas on January 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Spice It Up” and PromoKitchen is challenging attendees to “bring transformation and new ideas to this beloved industry.” As part of the event, there will be mentorship roundtables and a T-shirt design contest. CPSP is awarded to individuals who demonstrate a high level of expertise, commitment, and knowledge in the field of product safety. IDProductsource (asi/62088) has donated $285, plus set a new company record for amount of unwrapped toys donated to Toys for Tots, a new record for the supplier. It’s the sixth time the company has contributed to the charitable organization. “We’re proud to be part of such a worthy cause that distributes up to 19 million toys to 7.3 million children, allowing them to experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope that otherwise would not have been there,” said the company.

He brings more than 15 years of experience managing large-scale distribution and operational infrastructure in the healthcare and food manufacturing industries. “Amzed will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for 2024 and beyond,” says the company.

(asi/88660), a Top 40 supplier, has appointed Rina Fanous as inside account manager for Quebec and the Maritimes while Paola Riccio, inside account manager for Quebec and Eastern Canada, is on personal leave. Fanous has more than 15 years of experience in graphic design and printing, with an emphasis on customer service. In addition, regional sales manager Melanie Berlinguette has returned to serve clients in Quebec, in collaboration with multi-line firm Agence Nordiq.

Fabian Couture Group (asi/53418), a Texas-based supplier, has announced that its phone system will temporarily be down for maintenance after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6. “During this period, we encourage you to reach out to our customer service team via email at customerservice@fabiancouture.com for any assistance you may require,” the company said. Fabian shared that normal business hours for its phone system will resume on Thursday, Dec 7.
