Pinnacle Design Is Now an Employee-Owned Company
The supplier firm says the move demonstrates its commitment to employees and clients.
Pinnacle Designs (asi/78140) won such rave reviews from employees that it placed in the top third of Counselor’s 2024 Best Places to Work in promo rankings.
Now, the San Fernando, CA-based company’s board of directors has made a bold move that it says further strengthens its commitment to workers, making the supplier firm 100% employee-owned.
“We’ve always placed the highest value on the contributions of all our employees,” said Brad Hartstein, CEO and company founder. “This transition feels like a natural progression for us.”
All of Pinnacle Designs’ stock has been transferred into an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). A total of 51 employees will be part of the ESOP. Some have been with the supplier of emblematic jewelry for more than 30 years; others have more than 20 years with Pinnacle.
“Our employees have contributed mightily to our success due to the passion and innovation they bring to work each day,” said Pinnacle President David Messe. “The ESOP demonstrates our commitment to them, further allowing them to take part in our future success.”
Pinnacle Designs said that the change to being employee-owned will not impact work with clients or the structure and day-to-day operations of the company. “This is an extraordinarily important moment in our company’s history,” said Hartstein.
Pinnacle Designs ranked 24th on Counselor’s 2024 Best Places to Work in promo list. The firm told Counselor that the three words that best describe its workplace are “loyal,” “encouraging,” and “teamwork.”
