Maple Ridge Farms (asi/68680), a supplier of gourmet gifts for the promotional products industry, makes it part of its mission to uplift those in need within their community and inspire collective action.

Now, the company is being recognized for such do-gooding volunteer efforts, winning the “Shining Star” award from United Way of Marathon County, WI.

In total, Maple Ridge raised $8,911 in support of the 2023 United Way Campaign. The supplier’s goal was to demonstrate advocacy and volunteerism toward the organization, which strives to “lift 10,000 community members to financial stability by 2033.”

Maple Ridge coordinated employee-participation activities, including a gelato cart, white elephant sale, gift baskets and parking raffles.

The award was given to companies whose campaigns demonstrated participation and leadership growth, overall dollars raised, corporate gifts and more, according to a press release.

“It’s about building a brighter future for those in our community facing hardships. From supporting local charities to initiatives combating food insecurity, our actions are rooted in our commitment to giving back," said Joelle Stahlecker, marketing coordinator at Maple Ridge Farms.

According to Maple Ridge campaign manager Shana Gardner, the supplier intends to continue growing its support for the community and is looking for opportunities for team members throughout 2024.
