Industry veteran Bill Patton, most recently the vice president of Dallas-based Branding Resources (asi/145182), died on January 20. He was 69.

A 1969 graduate of Texas Tech University, Patton moved to Dallas and pursued a career in advertising. Over 40 years, he worked at a host of firms, including BBDO, TracyLocke, Case/Dunlap, Patton Promotional Services and Branding Resources.

Patton is survived by his wife Sherry, brothers Markham and Carl, stepsons Jeff, Jeremy and Josh, as well as five grandchildren. Services were held yesterday at GracePoint Church in Coppell, TX. Donations in Patton’s name may be made to the MDS Foundation.
