Wolfmark (asi 98085) announced this week that it has acquired the assets of Designs by Anthony. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

“We are excited to add Designs by Anthony’s 40-year industry legacy to our line” said Boyd Sterling, managing partner of Wolfmark. “We expect a smooth transition and have already started working with Designs by Anthony’s customer base and look forward to providing them with an enhanced customer service experience.”  

The transaction provides Wolfmark with expanded product line in the custom ties and scarves category. “We look forward to servicing Anthony customers with additional services and products that Wolfmark offers,” said Sterling.

Lawrence Schleif, president of Designs by Anthony, posted a note to the company’s website that lauds Wolfmark and recommends customers do business with the company moving forward. “As Designs by Anthony moves into the future, combining resources with Wolfmark's premium reputation and larger array of resources and options, [the company’s] commitment to satisfaction is a perfect fit to provide the best quality and service available in this industry today,” Schleif wrote. “Whether you are a valued returning client or a new customer who can benefit from the full services, dependability, quality and ease that Wolfmark provides, I invite you to pursue your orders directly with Wolfmark now, with my highest personal recommendation.”

Wolfmark, which was started in 1937, is a supplier of custom and stock accessories, including neckwear, blankets, sashes, scarves, culinary apparel and fleece accessories.
