4imprint Reports Preliminary 2017 Sales

Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045) increased sales more than 12% year-over-year in 2017. That’s according to unaudited preliminary results that the industry’s second largest distributor released in advance of its finalized financials for the year – an announcement scheduled for March 7.

According to the preliminary results, 4imprint revenue for the year ended December 30, 2017 tallied $627.5 million. In 2016, total revenue was $558.2 million, 4imprint said.

In a recently released trading update, 4imprint said that it drove “robust organic revenue growth during the fourth quarter of 2017,” but did not provide an exact figure.

“(4imprint’s) financial position remains strong, with an unaudited net cash balance at the 2017 year-end of c. $30.7 million,” the company said in the trading update. The net cash balance was $9 million more than 2016’s figure of $21.7 million.

In its most recent listing, Counselor ranked 4imprint as the second-largest distributor in the industry, after the firm reported 2016 North American promotional products sales of $540.6 million.
