Leed’s Partners With FinalStraw

Leed’s (asi/66887), a subsidiary of Top 40 supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA), has announced that it is partnering with FinalStraw, a manufacturer of collapsible, reusable straws. The exclusive partnership will bring the popular brand to the promotional products industry.

“Leed’s is an industry leader who understands the importance of corporate social responsibility, so our partnership with them felt very natural,” Emma Cohen, CEO and co-founder of FinalStraw, said in a press release. “FinalStraw was started in response to the devastating impact that plastic pollution has on our environment. By selling in the promotional products channel, we hope to get more reusable straws into more people’s hands in an effort to reduce plastic pollution.”

Beginning in January 2019, Leed’s will carry FinalStraw, which includes a collapsible, re-usable straw, a squeegee to clean and a small case for both items. The product will be available with multi-color decoration and will qualify for next day turn through the SureShip service. This partnership comes on the heels of Leed’s expanding its CamelBak product offering for 2019, which includes new drinkware styles from the popular retail brand.

“FinalStraw has a strong understanding of the promotional products market,” said Heather Smartt, global category director at PCNA. “Now more than ever, there’s demand for non-disposable items and we are fortunate that, as a company, we are able to bring these types of items to our industry in an effort to provide consumers with the brands and items they want.”

With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $606.3 million, PCNA ranked third on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
