Elizabeth “Liz” Kennedy, manager of technical product support at ASI for nearly 18 years, passed away on December 20, 2018.

At the end of October, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, one of the most difficult cancers to detect and treat early.

“Liz was truly beloved by ASI members,” said Tim Andrews, president and CEO of ASI. “They asked for her by name on the phone and at the shows, and many people emailed her directly for help and advice. She was always willing to manage any project and help any colleague in any way she could.”

Corinne Cutrone, owner of C&C Promos (asi/466399), is one of those members who developed a friendship with Kennedy. “Liz and I starting working in the industry around the same time,” Cutrone said. “We spent many hours on the telephone helping me get set up on ESP, designing my website, teaching me about pay-per-click Google advertising, among many things. She was so patient. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what an asset she was to ASI and the industry. She helped me countless times to meet my client's needs, as I know she has with countless other distributors.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey and Herman Stein, as well as her brother Thomas (Linda) Sanders. She is survived by her brothers Terry (Regina) Sanders, Timothy Sanders and Joel Stein as well as her significant other James Raphael. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to cancer research.
