SanMar Launches Carhartt Line
SanMar (asi/84863), the promo industry’s largest supplier by revenue, has announced that it has officially partnered with Carhartt to bring the brand’s workwear to the promotional apparel industry, effective this month.
SanMar’s Carhartt collection is comprised of almost 40 popular styles, including jackets, sweatshirts, work shirts, T-shirts, headwear, pants, overalls and a vest.
“At SanMar, we’re focused not on delivering the most brands but on delivering the best brands,” Lee Strom, vice president of marketing, said in a statement. “We believe Carhartt is the right brand at the right time and we’re excited to add this workwear leader to our collection.”
This marks SanMar’s most recent addition of a well-known brand name to its portfolio, which includes Nike, Eddie Bauer and The North Face.
In addition to Carhartt news, SanMar has expanded its offerings among its existing brands, including more than 25 women’s styles from OGIO and Port Authority, and teamwear from Port & Company, Sport-Tek, District and Nike. Other new products include the Legacy line of bags from New Era, Port Authority cotton canvas bags, OGIO Bags, Port Authority aprons and Flexfit caps.
With estimated 2017 North American promotional products revenue of $1.4 billion, SanMar ranks first on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
