Proforma Reports Record $60M December Sales

The distributor attributes the success to its investment into technology, including its proprietary e-commerce platform.

December was a milestone month for Top 40 promotional products distributor Proforma (asi/300094). The company reported $60 million in sales for the last month of 2021, setting a new monthly sales record.

The achievement was made possible by Proforma’s $20 million investment into business technology, which led to more than 5,000 e-commerce stores being opened last year, according to the company.

Proforma founder Greg Muzzillo and CEO Vera Muzzillo rank sixth on Counselor’s 2021 Power 50 list of the industry’s most influential people.

“This new sales record validates our standing as a top player in the industry,” said Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo. “In 2022, we plan to double our e-commerce presence, resulting in a total of 10,000 sites built by the end of the year.”

Proforma launched ProStores, its proprietary online storefront system, in 2016 to provide B2B and B2C end-users with a streamlined “Amazon-like” experience for online purchases. At its recent in-person member event, Proforma celebrated the release of ProStores University, a training and certification program for the platform.

Proforma ranked fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the promo industry based on 2020 North American promo sales of $538.5 million. In addition, 24 Proforma members were named to Inc.’s 2021 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies. Nearly 300 members are in Proforma’s Million and Multi-Million Dollar Club.
