HALO Surpasses $1 Billion in Annual Sales

The landmark achievement means the North American promo industry may have two distributors with full-year 2022 revenue over $1 billion.

HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) is a billion-dollar distributor.

The Sterling, IL-headquartered company, already promo’s largest distributorship by revenue, revealed at its annual Sales Achievement Gala on Jan. 9 that its full-year sales for 2022 surpassed $1 billion.

Executives said this is the first time HALO’s annual revenue has exceeded the 10-figure mark.

HALO drove growth organically and through acquisition. In May 2022, HALO continued its aggressive run of acquisitions in recent years by purchasing fellow Top 40 distributor BrandVia Alliance.

HALO’s announcement on 2022 sales comes as fellow Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045) is forecasting $1.1 billion in annual revenue for 2022. It could be the first time that the promo industry has multiple distributors with annual revenue above $1 billion, as determined by Counselor’s Top 40 rankings.

Cimpress (asi/162149), another Top 40 firm that owns National Pen and Vistaprint, has also posted revenue above $1 billion in the past but that has come from international sales too and through sales beyond just promo.

Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $822 million, HALO ranked first on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
