The Bright Side: SnugZ USA Donates $125,000 to Wounded Warrior Project

The money will help the nonprofit provide programs and services to veterans wounded during post-9/11 military actions.

SnugZ USA (asi/88060) is stepping up to help U.S. military veterans.

The West Jordan, UT-based Top 40 supplier recently donated $125,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for veterans wounded during post-9/11 military actions. The supplier presented the check to the charity at the recent PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.

“We are so proud to be a part of the Wounded Warrior Project family and provide continuing support to an organization that means so much to us,” said Brittany David, chief revenue officer of SnugZ and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “We also love that it continues to give an opportunity for our industry to give back to those who desperately need it and want to thank our distributor partners who make all of this possible.”

SnugZ donates 1% of sales from its Basecamp line, with a minimum donation of $100,000 per calendar year to support the Wounded Warrior Project. Basecamp offers a variety of products that can be used “from the backcountry to the boardroom,” including backpacks, drinkware and tools, according to SnugZ. The collaboration – which originated with Sweda before it was acquired by SnugZ last year – with the Wounded Warrior Project began as a speaking engagement by wounded warrior Dan Nevins in 2015, eventually leading to the current partnership.

“The support we receive from SnugZ helps Wounded Warrior Project honor and empower warriors in their communities,” said Brea Kratzert Todd, vice president of business development for the charity. “Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, warriors and their families never pay a penny for our programs.”

With reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $105 million, SnugZ ranked 13th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
