Top 40 supplier Garyline (asi/55990) is making progress on its planned relocation to Florida. The Bronx-based business announced in late 2022 that it would be moving production from its current headquarters in New York to a 440,000-sqaure-foot facility in Greater Tampa, FL.

Garyline is holding several job fairs this month to help staff up its Spring Hill, FL, facility and expects to begin production in mid-February. “Our New York factory will continue to operate through the first half of 2024,” said Scott Denny, vice president of sales and marketing at Garyline. He added that the supplier will start moving product groups gradually from New York to Florida to avoid disruptions.

“We have duplicate capabilities for every item, and to ensure a smooth transition without delays, we have added significant additional production equipment that is already in place in the Florida facility,” he added.

Initial reports from the Pasco County Economic Development Council in 2022 indicated that Garyline would be leasing a portion of the North Pasco Corporate Center being developed by Harrod Properties, but the supplier will be occupying the whole building.

Denny noted that the new factory in Florida will feature “more automation and greater efficiencies.”

“With 440,000 square feet, we’ve more than doubled the warehouse and production capacity, so we’re looking forward to continued growth and improvement for our American-made drinkware and promotional products,” he added.

Garyline, which opened in 1963, manufactures, prints and assembles a variety of plastic products for the promo industry. It also makes rigid, reusable plastic containers for other industries. The supplier offers more than 100 products made from recycled materials, some from post-consumer recycled plastics and some using post-industrial “home” recycled material.

Garyline ranks 28^th on Counselor’s most recent list of the top suppliers in the industry, with 2022 promotional products revenue of $64.7 million.
