Kaeser & Blair Expects $5M Sales Bump From Integration of Acquired Company

The Top 40 distributor bought Promotional Concepts of Red Oak in 2019 and is now fully integrating the firm into the K&B corporate fold.

Top 40 distributor Kaeser & Blair (asi/238600) is now fully integrating all the sales, service and operations of distributorship Promotional Concepts Inc. of Red Oak under the K&B corporate umbrella.

Batavia, OH-headquartered Kaeser & Blair said the move will add $5 million in sales volume.

Kaeser & Blair originally acquired Promotional Concepts Inc. of Red Oak in 2019, but the purchased firm has since been running as an independent company. While the Promotional Concepts’ office in Red Oak, IA, will close as part of the full integration, staff will remain on board, working remotely. Promo Concepts CEO Mike Lamb is joining K&B as director of business development.

“As PCI was a company built upon service and personal relationships, going into a company like K&B, with four generations of family ownership, was a perfect opportunity,” Lamb said.

In this Promo Insiders podcast, Mitch and Brad Kaeser discuss an array of topics related to their rising to the top of K&B, the company that their family has owned and operated for generations.

Kaeser & Blair has been in business for about 130 years. In July 2023, the company announced that Mitch and Brad Kaeser, sons of longtime CEO/President Kurt Kaeser, were promoted to co-CEOs.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $98 million, Kaeser & Blair ranked 25th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
