At a black-tie ceremony during ASI Chicago last night, Counselor magazine named Bill Korowitz, CEO of The Magnet Group (asi/68507), as its Person of the Year for 2015. Honored for his industry leadership, Korowitz also took home the night’s top award because he’s engineering big growth for his company – a 34% revenue increase over the past five years. Plus, seeing an opening to capitalize on the M&A trend in the ad specialty market, Korowitz even had the foresight this year to begin a capital company focused on acquiring supplier firms.

“This is the 50th year we’ve celebrated Counselor’s Person of the Year, and this evening we’re continuing that tradition by honoring a man who’s enjoyed numerous triumphs,” said Timothy M.
