Proforma’s Annual Convention Draws Record Attendance
Top 40 promotional products distributor Proforma (asi/300094) says it has generated record attendance at its annual Convention & Family Reunion, which was being held this week at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Nearly 700 Proforma member-owners, sales reps, support staff, supplier partners and special guests have been in attendance at the collegiate-themed event, which features more than 80 educational seminars and hands-on technology demonstrations of ProVision, Proforma’s new business management technology solution.
“Our theme this year was ‘Inspire U’,” said Proforma Founder Greg Muzzillo. “We believe that owners and suppliers have inspirational stories to share. That, paired with our new business management technology system, gives our owners the resources and strategies to help streamline their business processes, increase their productivity, and achieve their business goals.”
This year’s headlining events included a private supplier showcase that featured more than 300 suppliers. A supplier roundtable discussion and new product spotlight were part of the eclectic mix that enabled Proforma pros to network with industry suppliers and increase their consultative expertise, executives said.
“Proforma’s Annual Convention & Family Reunion is the only private event of this magnitude that allows you to network with and to learn from the industry’s best supplier partners and the best owners all in one place,” said Tim Meffert, the owner of Proforma Effective Solutions in Jackson, WI, a Proforma Multi-Million Dollar Club Member, and Proforma’s Owner Advisory Council President.
Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo said the event was also a chance to celebrate successes, including that more than 200 owners grew their sales by double digits. With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $378.8 million, Proforma ranked sixth on Counselor’s 2019 list of the largest distributors in the industry.
