Dale Denham Named PPAI President/CEO
Denham is a well-known business and technology leader in promo who most recently worked for Top 40 distributor Geiger.
Dale Denham is the new president and CEO of Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the promo industry trade association has announced.
Denham, a promotional products veteran, officially begins the role in mid-August. He takes over for Robert (Bob) McLean Jr., who has been serving as interim president. McClean, who’s also been working as executive vice president, will continue in the EVP role once Denham is installed, PPAI noted.
“I am very excited to be joining the PPAI team,” Denham said in a statement released by PPAI. “I look forward to helping PPAI further expand our leadership role and contributions to the promotional products industry.”
Denham was most recently chief information officer and senior vice president for Geiger (asi/202900). He served in that leadership position with the Maine-based Top 40 distributorship for 10 years.
Prior to joining Geiger, Denham was a senior vice president at the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), a promo industry organization that serves a network of 25,000 suppliers, distributors and decorators.
A graduate of the University of South Florida, Denham’s experience also includes being president of a start-up software company and serving as general manager at America II Electronics, a distributor of electronic components.
Within the last decade, Denham has been active with PPAI, serving as technology committee chairman for two years and as an outside director for five years. He was also PPAI’s chairman of the board of directors for a one-year span between 2018 and 2019.
Denham becomes the full-time replacement for Paul Bellantone, PPAI’s former CEO/president, who left the organization in March 2021. Bellantone is now a senior vice president with Top 40 distributor HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000).
