HALO Hosts National Sales Meeting

The promo industry’s top distributor welcomed more than 600 of its salespeople and industry suppliers to its Breakthrough Summit in Salt Lake City last month.

HALO (asi/356000), the promotional products industry’s largest distributor by revenue, held its national sales meeting, Breakthrough Summit 2022, last month. More than 600 HALO salespeople and industry suppliers joined HALO management and staff at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City.

“The Breakthrough Summit was our best meeting yet,” said Marc Simon, HALO CEO and Power 50 member. “Our selling team left highly informed and inspired for the second half of the year, and our preferred suppliers laid the foundation for continued strong growth with innovative new products and exclusive selling tools for our team.”

The Breakthrough Summit featured small-group sessions with key suppliers, as well as training on HALO’s suite of selling tools, global distribution and kitting capabilities, and the company’s sustainability program. The event also featured an Olympic-themed trade show featuring 150 suppliers, plus a number of non-industry brands that sell exclusively through HALO.

More than 600 HALO salespeople and industry suppliers attended the distributor’s Breakthrough Summit sales meeting in Salt Lake City last month.

“The energy and ideation will inspire our team as we move into the most robust selling period of the year,” said Jim Stutz, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We had several new preferred suppliers participate, combined with the industry’s largest suppliers, to provide an abundance of new products and selling strategies for our team.”

In the evening, networking events featured the sights, sounds and cuisine of Salt Lake City, including HALO’s closing ceremony at the University of Utah Rice Eccles Stadium, site of the 2002 Winter Olympics opening ceremonies.

“HALO held the largest distributor trade show in the industry with perfect execution,” said Paul Bellantone, senior vice president of customer experience and past president and CEO of PPAI. “It was a huge win for our sales team, our suppliers and – ultimately – our organizational growth.”

 

HALO has more than 2,000 employees in 42 global offices. With 2020 North American promotional products revenue of $765.7 million, HALO ranked first on Counselor’s most recent list of the 40 largest distributors in the industry. The 2022 Top 40 list will be revealed later this month.
